Float On.

Yesterday was so hilarious in Mykka's car. Paravee, Janis and I were singing so loud and dancing so dumb. Then when Paper Planes started playing, Paravee and I did our dance and some guy on the left of us saw me do the whole dance and started laughing and smiling at me. Mykka just HAD to put down my window.. so embarrassing. hahahaha. Then we went to BJS and ate a pizooooooookie. Randy asked Mykka out too :)It was the cutest thing ever! He made the waitress write "Will you be my girlfriend?" on top of the pizoookie in red icing! Blahblah blah. Paravee and I got dropped off at Topanga Mall and took pictures at the AppleStore! Then Jrod picked us up and we went to Sutter.. I slipped again when I was trying to get the ball from Jrod! Hahaha. Then we had to wait 128912305823 hours for Jrod and Jan to get their taper lineerrr! Played some more basketball at OLV while they played football.. Psh they got mad at me because I didn't want to play. Anyway, OLV Signups on Monday, wooo! And I got tickets to ABDC finale next weeek babaaaaaaaaay :)

One Last Cry.

Today was the funeral. Laila and I were almost late and luckily we found Christina, Mykka, Paravee and Randy and took our seats. Then, we heard Roger's mom crying in Spanish and I couldn't fight back the tears. I felt so horrible and couldn't stand hearing her cry. It was the saddest thing ever. God, I wish the best of luck to Roger's family. The whole school was practically there. It's beautiful to see how one person has united the whole school together. Then, we went to the cemetery.. and I said goodbye as I threw my yellow rose.

What I learned from this is that I need to hold my family and friends a little closer to me because who knows if they will be here tomorrow. You never know what tomorrow will bring, so better make most of the time you have with them.

Later on, Joel picked me up around 4ish and we headed over to Los Angeles to go to America's Best Dance Crew. He came so late and I knew we weren't going to get in! We didn't.. hahaah. So we went to Urban Outfitters, got nothing and ate at Islands. Now I'm completely broke. FUCK YOU JOEL VALERIO.

K, I'm done, peace.

I Will Follow You Into the Dark.

Tomorrow's the day to say goodbye to Roger. I'm not
sure if I'm ready. I wish I could've gone to the
Viewing, or Wake, as everyone else calls it today,
but I was scared. I didn't want to go out either,
since I was out these past days. My mom wouldn've
got mad at me. Hopefully I do get to skip school
tomorrow to go to the funeral..because I want to
see him before he goes..

If I Only Had The Heart

My best friend Joe Humpay came over to my house around 2:00 am. We needed to catch up anyway, so we just chatted and took shots in my room. The last time I saw him was like since Twilight came out in theatres. Such a long time ago! Anyway, I was gone after the 5th or 6th shot. I'm such a lightweight. We went outside I guess and just talked some more. I told him to leave or whatever and he did. Then he told me to check my sent text messages and videos. I guess I recorded us talking and wow was I something. I was talking about all this nonsense, it was pretty funny. Blah blah blah. I'm such a horrible person. I went with Paravee and Janis to watch the Froggies Basketball game instead of going to my grandma's birthday. If I only had the heart. I'm terrible. My parents and everyone else were upset with me. I still had a pretty great day though. Even though the Froggies lost by 4 points, it was fun to watch Jan run funny and Joel being so butterfingerey with the ball. Then played around at the park, ate at Pete's, and then Jrod had a flat tire so we made a pit stop to the gas station.. then finally went home!

Kill the Messenger

I got too lazy to write in my diary, so I made a blog instead.

Today Laila, Christina, Paravee and I went to Carl's Jr for a car wash to help raise money for Roger Nunez's family. For those who do not know Roger Nunez or have heard about the bad news; he is a senior from Northridge Academy High School. He wasn't just some senior, but a kind-hearted person I knew since middle school. Unfortunately, he was involved in a car accident on February 17, 2009 around 3:00 pm on his way home from school.Once the messenger delivered the bad news to Mrs.Gordon in English class on Wednesday morning, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I seriously thought Mrs.Gordon was reading from the article we were working on. Soon, I finally realized that it was about someone from school. Silence filled the room and we all just continued annotating articles. However, we all began working at a much slower pace. The news hit us way too hard. As soon as the bell rang, I walked through the hallways and noticed how quiet it was. I saw a lot of people crying too. It's really beautiful to know how many lives one person has affected. His sister was in the car during the accident as well, and survived. I met her for the first time today and she was so strong. I'm so proud of her because of how strong she is being through all of this. There were so many people that showed up at the car wash today and seeing all the new and familiar faces made me so happy and proud. In the end, they raised 5,000 dollars. It's really beautiful. Even though people got annoyed of him countless times, we all still loved him because he always made us smile. No matter how big or small his impact may have been on us, he still affected each and every one of us at Northridge Academy High School.

Roger Nunez you will always be remembered and loved.
Rest in Paradise, Puma. I love you.
